This policy describes how the operator of HazTrackR (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the marketing site at https://haztrackr.com and the application at https://app.haztrackr.com. It is a starting policy, not a substitute for counsel. Replace the operator name and jurisdiction before relying on it in production.
Who we are
HazTrackR is a software service for hazmat team equipment, calibrations, inventory, and compliance reporting. The legal entity that operates the service should be named here once it is confirmed. Contact: hello@haztrackr.com.
Information we collect
Marketing site
- Demo requests. Name, work email, organization, and message when you submit the contact form.
- Bot protection. Cloudflare Turnstile processes a token to reduce automated abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy documentation for that service.
- Technical data. Standard web logs such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL may be collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
Application
If you create an account at https://app.haztrackr.com, we process account, organization, and operational data you enter (equipment records, calibrations, attachments, members, and related activity) to provide the service. Authentication may include email/password or a third-party identity provider you choose to connect.
How we use information
- Respond to demo and support requests
- Provide, secure, and improve the service
- Send transactional messages such as invites, password resets, and calibration reminders
- Meet legal obligations and protect the service from abuse
We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share information with processors that help us run the service (for example hosting, email delivery, and authentication). Those parties may only use the information to provide their services to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
Retention
Demo requests are kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Application data is retained for the life of the organization account unless you delete it or ask us to delete it, subject to legal holds and backup cycles.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing hello@haztrackr.com. If you have an application account, you can also update many profile and organization settings in the product.
Security
We use industry-standard controls appropriate to a hosted SaaS product, including encryption in transit and access controls inside the application. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The service is intended for organizational use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
